# Quick Start – Account, Email & Your First Audience

${youtube}[](j_SfnQh6fqg)

Welcome aboard! 👋 This quick start takes you from zero to your first usable leads. Below you'll find every step laid out to read through, with links to deeper articles.

> **Two things up front:** The interface appears automatically in your language — English — and can be switched any time in your profile (available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and Polish). The screenshots in this help center show the English interface, so they match exactly what you see. And if a question comes up along the way: the help center is one click away, or just message us in the chat. We handle every request personally.

## 1. Add your website — the foundation

Everything in Leadscraper starts with your website, which is why you set it up first, on purpose. The reason: instead of filling out long forms about your company, Leadscraper looks at your website directly — **what you offer, who you help, and what sets you apart.**

After a few seconds you'll see a result. Just click **Edit**, add what's missing, and remove what doesn't fit. This is the basis for everything that follows: your searches, your scoring, and your results all build on it. Take a moment here — then you've got a clean foundation.

## 2. Define your audience

Your audience matters for two reasons:

1. **It's the basis for all searches** — and collects the learnings from them. You can start different search queries and train different audiences with them, so each one learns over time which matches are the right ones.
2. **Your individual acquisition plan grows out of it.** So Leadscraper knows how you approach companies and what your hook is, you store everything fundamental about your audience and your acquisition process here.

Important: this is **not yet** the actual search query that generates leads. That comes next — with your first run.

## 3. Your first run

Now it gets exciting: you start your first search. Here too you don't start from scratch — Leadscraper already gives you ready-made suggestions. You simply pick the right audience and refine the search if needed.

**Tip:** test different search queries against each other and find out which variants work best for you. You start a query, then rate the leads and enrich them — that's exactly what makes the system better with every search.

If a search works well, you can re-run it any time or schedule it — e.g. automatically with **60, 120, or 240 leads per day** in the background while the AI agents work for you. That's how you build a reliable lead stream over time.

## 4. Understanding the score

As soon as your run finishes, you'll see your fresh leads — and each one has a **score**. It shows you at a glance how well a lead fits your ideal customer and how promising it is. Leadscraper calculates it by matching everything it knows about a company against your offer and your audience.

The benefit: you no longer have to go through every result one by one. You start at the top, where the best-fitting leads are, and work your way down as far as you like — putting your time into the contacts that deserve it most right now.

## 5. The three-stage enrichment

This is how a fitting company becomes a ready-to-use lead. You find most companies automatically through your search. But you can also create one yourself if you have a specific sales target in mind, and then enrich just the right contacts for it.

In a multi-stage process, Leadscraper scours the internet, finds the relevant **decision-makers**, recognizes the **email patterns**, and proves **why** the company really fits you.

## 6. The lead in detail — including the acquisition plan

When you open a lead, you see everything bundled together — far more than a list entry:

* **Validated company data** at the top: website, email, phone, address, commercial register, VAT ID — each with a green check when we could confirm it.
* **Lead quality in three areas:** how solid the company data is, how good the contacts are, and how promising the outreach is.
* **The decision-makers** with profiles on LinkedIn or Xing, an estimate of how confident we are, and the source of the information.

The real highlight is the **acquisition plan**: a deep company analysis with a clear assessment, concrete opportunities for your outreach, and — honestly — possible risks or dealbreakers too. On top of that sits a ready **channel mix over several days**: when to start by email, when to call, when the LinkedIn request and the follow-up come — each with a rationale. At the very bottom you'll even find a ready **sample message** for first contact, which you can adopt with one click or have prepared directly as an email draft.

So you don't just get a contact, but a complete, well-thought-out plan for outreach — ready to go.

## 7. Exporting leads

Once you have leads that really fit, they should go where you work. From the stage where the contacts are enriched, you can export your leads any time — as a **CSV file** or directly into your **CRM system**. That takes you from research to real outreach without detours.

→ **Connecting Leadscraper to your CRM**

## 8. Rate & learn — your own lead machine

Now comes the part that makes Leadscraper really strong over time: **rate your leads.** Accepting is implicit — moving a lead further through the pipeline signals it fits. If a lead doesn't fit, click **"Not a fit"** and briefly pick the reason.

This way the AI automatically learns for your audience which leads fit well — and from the matches we could cleanly enrich, it generates more of them for you going forward. All of this is stored in your audience: industry, company size, contacts, location, ownership structure — basically everything you put in here.

So step by step you build not a generic list, but a **lead machine tailored exactly to you.** And that's the key to getting the most out of Leadscraper in the long run.

→ **Train your audience**

**Done!** Now it's time to get going and grab your first leads. If anything stays open along the way, just message us in the chat — we'll take care of it personally.
