Demo, Consultation & How to Reach Us
Demo, Consulting & How to Reach Us
Most B2B tools sell themselves through a scheduled call: first a demo, then a proposal, then eventually access. Leadscraper deliberately works differently. You don't need a sales conversation to get started — you jump in, run your first real search, and immediately see what the system finds for your industry. That's the most honest demo there is: your own results instead of a prepared slide deck.
That said, we're reachable — quickly, personally, and without hold music. This article explains when it makes sense to dive straight in, how to reach us, and which channel is right for which question.
Self-Service First: Your Best Demo Is You
Leadscraper is a self-service product. You sign up, set up your target audience, and start a search — without anyone needing to "unlock" or configure anything for you. There's a reason for that: a demo where we show you a pre-prepared search tells you little about your actual use case. It only becomes meaningful when you enter your own industry, your own region, and your desired contact.
That's exactly what the onboarding is built for:
- Creating an account takes a few minutes — email and password are enough, or sign in with Google or Microsoft.
- Describe your target audience in plain words, e.g., "folding carton manufacturers in NRW, purchasing contact". You don't click through dropdowns — you describe who you're looking for.
- Start your first search and watch live as the system builds a plan, researches, and evaluates each result individually.
You get up to 10 leads per search that the system has actively checked for you. That's your demo — with real companies from your market, not an example from ours.
How the onboarding works in detail is covered in "Quick Start: Account, Email & First Target Audience" and "Starting Your First Search". How many free credits you get in the trial is explained in "Trial Period & Free Credits".
Why You Don't Need a Classic Sales Call
Leadscraper isn't a complex enterprise system that would be unusable without an onboarding call. The product guides you through the important steps itself:
- Built-in plausibility check before you start. If your request is structurally too broad (e.g., "IT service providers Germany"), the system alerts you before the run and suggests more specific alternatives. So you won't waste a run on a search that's too vague.
- Visible thought process. While a run is in progress, you can see the goal, strategy, and chosen sources in the activity stream. You don't have to trust anyone's word about "what the AI is doing" — you see it.
- The system learns with you. You reject non-matching leads with "Not a fit" (and optionally a reason), while moving matching ones further through the pipeline. Leadscraper learns your patterns from this. The accuracy typically rises from around 60–70% at cold start to over 90% as you rate more. That's training you control yourself — not setup we have to do for you.
How the learning works and how to sharpen it deliberately is covered in "How to Search Effectively" and "Adding Your Website — How Leadscraper Gets to Know You".
How to Reach Us
If you have a question, get stuck, or want to share feedback — reach out. We respond quickly and personally.
Chat (bottom right) — the direct line
In the app, bottom right, you'll find the chat. That's the most direct line to us: personal, no hold time, usually the fastest response. Whether you're stuck on setup, a search isn't giving sharp results, or you want to know if your industry works well — just write to us.
It helps to be specific about what you're working on (which search, which target audience) — that way we can help directly rather than having to ask follow-up questions.
Why We Rely on Written Support
We don't offer phone support — and that's a deliberate decision. Written requests via chat can be answered faster, more precisely, and with a clearer record. You don't have to wait for a free slot, and we can look directly at your search and give you a concrete answer rather than a generic one. Bottom line: you get a usable solution faster.
When Consulting Is Really Worth It
For most questions, jumping straight in or sending a quick chat message is the fastest route. A more in-depth conversation via chat makes the most sense when:
- you're unsure how best to describe your target audience so the results are a good fit,
- you're searching for a very niche or rare industry and want to know the best way to start,
- you want to cover multiple target audiences in parallel and are thinking about the cleanest way to set that up,
- or you have feedback on results that helps us improve the system.
In all these cases, the same underlying logic applies as in the product: start broad, evaluate, then get more specific. That's exactly what we're happy to help you with — tell us what you're trying to do, and we'll show you the way there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a demo before I can get started?
No. You can sign up and immediately start your first real search. Your own results are more informative than any pre-scripted demo.
Can I talk to someone first?
Of course. Just write to us in the chat (bottom right). We're happy to advise you — personally, and without it turning into an obligatory sales conversation.
Is there phone support?
We rely on written support via chat. That way you get a concrete answer faster, often including a direct look at your search.
How quickly will I get a response?
The chat bottom right is the fastest route — we'll get back to you promptly and personally.
What's the best thing to write when I need help?
Describe concretely what you're working on: which target audience you're searching for, which search isn't looking right, and what you expected. The more specific your message, the more specific our help.
I'm stuck on my first search — what should I do?
Check "Starting Your First Search" and "How to Search Effectively" first. If you're still stuck, write to us in chat — we'll look at it together.
In short: the fastest start is your own first search. And if you have a question, we're just a chat message away. So don't hesitate — just reach out.
