Login & Access – Including Account Migration

Here you'll find everything you need to sign in to Leadscraper, manage your access, and – if you still have an old account from before the platform migration – cleanly carry over your credits, leads, and invoices.

We'll go through it step by step: registration, regular login, the different sign-in methods, resetting your password, browser recommendation, account migration, and the most common questions.

Creating an account (registration)

You set up your access through the registration form. There are three ways to create an account – pick whichever you prefer:

  • Email + password – classic registration with your work email address.
  • Continue with Google – sign up with your Google account.
  • Continue with Microsoft – sign up with your Microsoft account.

The registration form – with email and password, or directly via Google or Microsoft.

Registration is deliberately low-friction: you sign up, create your account, and land directly in the dashboard — no waiting for a confirmation email.

When you create your account, your trial period is set up automatically. The trial includes 50 free credits over 3 days. More on that in the article Trial Period & Free Credits.

Tip: add your company website during onboarding

If you add your own website URL during onboarding, Leadscraper analyzes your company (description, product categories, target markets, value proposition) and later uses this knowledge when scoring each lead – specifically for the "why this fits you" explanation on every match. It's optional, but it makes your results more precise from the start. The analysis is cached and can be refreshed manually at any time.

Signing in

To sign in, open the login page and use the same method you created your account with:

  1. Email + password: enter your address and password, then click Sign in.
  2. Google / Microsoft: click the respective button and confirm the popup from your provider.

The login page with all sign-in methods and the link to reset your password.

With the Stay logged in option on the login page, you won't have to sign in again on every visit.

After a successful login you land directly in the dashboard. There's deliberately no separate confirmation page anymore.

Multiple sign-in methods for the same account

Your account is always tied to your email address, not to the method. This has a practical effect:

  • If you originally registered with email + password and later sign in with Google or Microsoft (same address), your existing account is linked automatically. You land in the same account with the same credits, leads, and settings – no second account is created. Your password login stays intact in parallel.
  • The same works in reverse: sign in with Google, then later switch to email + password – same account, no data loss.

Resetting your password

If you've forgotten your password or can't sign in:

  1. Go to the login page and click Forgot password?
  2. Enter the email address you registered with.
  3. You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password.

If you originally signed up via Google or Microsoft, there's no password to reset. Use the same method you signed up with.

Your profile email is read-only

The email address in your profile is tied to your account and cannot be changed. It serves as the unique identifier for your account. If you need a different address, please contact us via the chat.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

2FA is visible in the settings but not active yet — coming soon. We'll notify you as soon as it's available.

Browser recommendation

Leadscraper works in all modern browsers. We recommend Chrome or Edge for the best experience. If something doesn't display correctly, a quick browser update usually helps.

Account migration (old accounts)

If you have an account from before the platform migration, you can carry over your credits, leads, and invoices. To do so, contact us via the chat in the bottom right — we'll handle it manually and make sure nothing gets lost.

Frequently asked questions

I'm not receiving the password reset email. What should I do?
Check your spam folder first. If nothing is there either, make sure you're using the email address you actually registered with. If still nothing, contact us in the chat.

Can I use the same account on multiple devices?
Yes. You can be logged in on as many devices as you like simultaneously.

My login isn't working even though I'm sure of my password. What now?
Try resetting your password. If the problem persists, reach us via the chat.
