Invoices & Payment
Here you'll learn how payment works at Leadscraper, where to find your invoices, how to buy as a company with VAT shown separately, and what happens to your credits when you switch plans, cancel, or get a refund.
All billing runs through Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe is the authoritative source for all payment and invoice data — what you see in your account comes directly from there.
How billing works
Leadscraper bills in credits. The rule is simple:
- 1 credit = 1 lead. Every delivered lead deducts exactly one credit.
- Each search delivers up to 10 leads — so roughly 10 credits per run as a guideline.
Credits reach your account in two ways:
- Subscription: your plan grants you a fixed amount of new credits each month.
- Credit packages (one-off): you buy a larger amount in one go, without a running subscription.
Important: Monthly subscription credits are "use-it-or-lose-it." They reset on the renewal date — unused monthly credits expire. Only separately purchased credit packages and trial credits stay permanently.
Plans & prices
Monthly subscriptions
Plan | Price / month | Credits / month |
|---|---|---|
Basic | €190 | 100 |
Starter | €290 | 250 |
Growth | €490 | 500 |
The monthly credits are granted with every paid invoice — on the first payment and then automatically on every renewal. On the renewal date the allowance resets; unused monthly credits expire.
Credit packages (no subscription)
Package | Price | Credits |
|---|---|---|
1,000 credits | €790 | 1,000 |
5,000 credits | €3,490 | 5,000 |
10,000 credits | €5,490 | 10,000 |
50,000 credits | €18,990 | 50,000 |
Package credits land in your account immediately after successful payment and never expire.
All prices are exclusive of the applicable VAT. Exactly what's charged is shown transparently at checkout (see below).
Paying as a company — with VAT & VAT ID
You no longer have to contact the chat for this — the entire company purchase runs directly at checkout.
During payment you'll see:
- a breakdown into subtotal, tax, and total due,
- a field for the billing address,
- the "Buy as a business" option with an input field for your VAT ID,
- a field for promo codes.
As soon as you enter a valid VAT ID, Stripe calculates VAT correctly for your country. With a valid EU VAT ID outside Germany, the reverse-charge procedure applies automatically. The stored company address and VAT ID then appear on your invoice and are also saved for future renewals.
This way you automatically get a proper invoice issued to your company with VAT shown separately — no detour.
Downloading invoices
Every payment automatically generates an invoice — both subscription payments and one-off credit packages.
Here's how to get your invoices:
- Open the Billing section in your account.
- There you'll see your full transaction history: date, amount, type of payment (subscription or package), credits granted, and status.
- Download the invoice as a PDF for each entry.
Alternatively, Stripe also sends the invoice directly to your email address after each payment.
Frequently asked questions
Do my credits expire?
Monthly subscription credits reset on the renewal date — unused monthly credits expire. Purchased one-off packages and trial credits never expire.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period. Monthly credits that are still in your account at that point expire with the end of the period. Separately purchased credit packages stay with you.
I need a credit note / refund. How does that work?
Contact us via the chat in the bottom right. We'll look at each case individually and get back to you quickly.
Can I get invoices sent to a different email?
Stripe sends invoices to the billing email on file. You can update this in the Stripe portal (accessible via Manage Cards in the Billing tab).
