Quick Start – Account, Email & Your First Audience

Great to have you here! 👋 You'll be up and running in just a few minutes — let's walk through the first steps together so you feel right at home from day one.

Create your account

Sign up at my.leadscraper.de/register — with your first name, last name, email, and a password (at least 8 characters), or go straight in via Google or Microsoft.

Confirm your email

After registering, we'll send you a confirmation email. One click on the link inside and your login is activated. If it doesn't show up right away, take a quick look in your spam folder.

Add your website

The first thing you'll do is enter your website. This helps Leadscraper understand who it's working for and tailor the results more precisely to you. Don't worry — you can update this at any time.

Create your first audience

Next, you'll set up an audience. Think of it as your "learning folder": this is where Leadscraper keeps everything it learns about your ideal customers, and where your related searches come together in one place. The actual search happens in the query — the audience is mainly where your learnings accumulate.

Tip: You create audiences and schedules on desktop — the wizard isn't available on mobile yet. 🙂

What a Lead Contains, Exporting & Avoiding Duplicate Leads

Once your first results are in, you'll naturally want to know: what's inside, and how do I get the most out of it? 😊

What's in a lead

Company: name, industry, address, website, main contact, size.
Contact person: name, role, email, LinkedIn/XING.
Sales signals: personalised outreach hook, open positions, references, certifications.
Sources: every data point is traceable to a public source.

Validate contacts & acquisition plan

Found an interesting company? Go deeper — two optional steps, 1 Credit per company each:

Validate contacts (+1 Credit) — Leadscraper checks and finds the relevant contacts at the company, not just a generic info@ address.
Create acquisition plan (+1 Credit) — you receive a ready-made, company-specific proposal for your outreach.

This turns a match into a truly actionable lead.

Exporting leads

Leads you've marked "Good fit" can be downloaded as CSV or XLSX (switch to the "Good fit" filter to see them). A full GDPR data export is also available in your account settings.

Filtering out duplicate leads

Within an audience, Leadscraper makes sure it doesn't deliver the same company to you twice. Already know a lead (e.g. it's in your CRM)? Mark it "Not a fit" → reason "Already known" — everything stays clean without skewing the learning. Across multiple audiences, the same company can appear if it fits more than one.

Login & Access – Including Account Migration

Come on in — and if you can't log in, need your account unlocked, or the password reset email isn't arriving, we'll get it sorted together quickly. 🙂

Login problems

Have you confirmed your email? (A confirmation email is sent after signup.)
Try refreshing the page.
"Email or password incorrect"? Reset your password via "Forgot password?" at my.leadscraper.de/login. If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder — and if it's still not there, write to us here in the chat and we'll help straight away.

Can't log in after the system migration? (Account unlock, old lead lists)

We've migrated Leadscraper to a new system. If you can't log in anymore, are missing your old lead lists, or can't find an invoice — don't worry, nothing is lost:

We do this manually for you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. 😊

Which browser works best?

We recommend Google Chrome (Firefox and Safari work great too). In some Edge versions the search window can briefly disappear when you click — everything runs smoothly in Chrome. If you experience anything like this, try switching browsers or let us know.

Working with HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar? Then you'll naturally want your leads right inside your usual system. 😊

As of today: a direct handoff to common CRMs is in development and partially available. What always works: export your good-fit leads as CSV or XLSX and import them into your CRM.
