Train your audience

This is the part that makes Leadscraper really strong over time: rate your leads. This turns a generic list, step by step, into a lead machine tailored exactly to you. And that's the key to getting the most out of Leadscraper in the long run.

How you rate

It's about as simple as it gets:

  • Doesn't fit? Click "Not a fit" and pick the reason — for example wrong industry, wrong company size, wrong region, wrong role, not an operating company, no buying signal, already known, or poor data. You can optionally add a short comment.
  • Leads you move further through the pipeline — for example finding contacts or opening the acquisition plan — are automatically treated as fitting. There's no separate positive vote. Ratings can be reset at any time.

That's all it takes. These signals are the most valuable fuel for your system.

In your lead list, you reject non-matching leads with "Not a fit" and a reason — this trains your audience.

What happens in the background

With every rejection (and every lead you process further), the AI automatically learns for your audience which leads fit well — and from the matches we could cleanly enrich, it generates simply more of them for you going forward.

All of this is stored in your audience: things like industry, company size, contacts, location, or ownership structure. Basically, everything you put in here flows into your audience in the background and sharpens it further.

Training multiple audiences

You're not limited to one audience. You can start different search queries and train different audiences with them — each collects its own learnings and, over time, learns exactly which matches are the right ones for it. This way you can, for example, represent different segments or offers in parallel.

Switching & managing audiences

At the top of the dashboard sits the Active Audience selector. A click on it opens the Switch audiences list with all your audiences.

Via the Active Audience selector at the top, you switch, edit (gear), or delete (trash) audiences – or create a new one.

  • Switch: pick an audience – the dashboard, searches, and leads immediately switch to that audience.
  • Edit: via the gear icon, you adjust an audience's settings.
  • Delete: via the trash icon, you remove an audience you no longer need.
  • Create new: with + Create new audience you open the briefing form: give it a name, briefly describe who you target and why – done.

💡 Tip: keep a separate audience per market or use case (e.g. one per region or industry). That way you switch context with one click – and each audience learns for itself.

From a list to your lead machine

The more consistently you rate and refine, the more precise your results become — and the less work you have on every further run. Instead of an arbitrary list, you build yourself a system that finds exactly your ideal customers.

Tip: take a few minutes to rate during your first runs. This investment pays off on every following search.
